If the stones could shout out, as Jesus suggests they are capable of, they would likely tell the story of two kings who entered Jerusalem from separate entrances.
Martha, of course, was busy doing the dishes. Lazarus was silent, perhaps still standing in amazement of the fact that only a few days ago he was deader than a doornail. Mary, however, did something quite different.
Now is not the time for silence. Silence only empowers the foxes.
Cultivate resilience. Let go of the distraction. And you might just find the freedom that you seek in order to follow Christ on this Lenten journey.
