Beaumont Learning Center has been offering half-day educational programs for pre-schoolers since 1999.  We offer 2-day classes for two and three year olds and 3-day classes for pre-Kindergarten. ABOUT OUR PROGRAM We are a state licensed pre-school. All staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. All lead teachers have college degrees in Childhood Education. Our staff has over 40 combined years of experience in working with small children. All staff take 15 hours of continuing education each year. Our average teacher/student ratio is 1:6. Class sizes are small with 9 two year olds, 11 three year olds, and 11 Pre-Kindergarten students. We provide a healthy snack for all children. Activity and behavior notes are sent home daily with each child Each month parents are given a snack calendar along with a newsletter and activity calendar. We follow the Fayette County Public School Calendar.
ADMISSION POLICY The BLC 2 year old program is open to children who will be 2 by October 1; they do not have to be toilet trained to be in this class. The children in the three year old class and Pre-K must be 3 or 4 before October 1 and, in the absence of a special need, must be toilet trained. We will need a current copy of your child’s immunization record and health insurance card at the time of enrollment. FEES An annual, non-refundable registration fee of $85.00 is required upon enrollment. A material/snack fee in the amount of $40.00 is due the first day of each semester. Tuition is due the first school day of each month. A late fee will be charged after the tenth of the month. No deductions will be made for the absence of a child. The cost for one year of school is divided into ten monthly payments for your convenience. Tuition is: 2 year olds (2days/week)$120.00 each month 3 year olds (2days/week)$120.00 each month Pre-K (3days/week)$155.00 each month Two weeks notice is required if a child leaves the program for any reason.

MISSION STATEMENT Beaumont Learning Center’s mission is to share God’s love and provide a safe learning environment for children in our community. We will create and maintain a learning program designed to stimulate and enhance child development as well as uplift, encourage and support parents. FAITH Because Beaumont Learning Center is a Christian pre-school, we will focus on broad Christian values and lessons such as kindness, honesty and love. As a parent, you are the most important and influential teacher for your child in regard to your family’s specific religious beliefs. DISCIPLINE Beaumont Learning Center is dedicated to modeling and reinforcing good, age-appropriate behavior. Redirection and positive reinforcement are two methods of discipline most often utilized. Time-outs will be used minimally. Teachers will communicate to parents any recurring or alarming behavior problems. Please feel free to discuss discipline concerns with the staff at any time. GOALS FOR BLC Our main goal is for each child to feel loved and secure. In addition, we work to ensure that each child will: Experience the loving care of adults who are committed to the emotional and physical well-being of all children. Learn about emotions and feelings. Become aware that each person is responsible to show kindness and respect to others. Develop an ability to communicate appropriately with teachers and peers. Have opportunities to learn about art, music, science, math, reading and writing.
