Jay T. Silence was born and raised in the small town of Paxton, Illinois.  He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BA in Political Science and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with an MDiv. He has ministered at Beaumont Presbyterian for over 5 years, and hopes to be an engaging and encouraging presence in the lives of youth.   Jay T has previously served churches, as well as church camp and conference centers in Virginia and Indiana.

Jay T's wife, Beth, is also a minister and serves as a chaplain at a local hospital.  They have 3 children and enjoy laughing together, game nights and outdoor activities.
