Rev. Susan Warren of Lexington was ordained in June 2003 after receiving a Master of Divinity degree from Lexington Theological Seminary.

She served more than 5 years at First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceburg before being called to Beaumont in January, 2009.

Susan's call to ministry came near the end of a 20-year career as a journalist, spent primarily covering politics and government at the state Capitol. Susan is active in Transylvania Presbytery, having served as moderator in 2008 and chair of the Coordinating Council in 2009.

Her husband, Jim, is a reporter and cartoonist for the Lexington Herald-Leader. They have two grown daughters, Julie, of Denver, Co., and Emily, of Lexington.
